In this video, Dr. Charles Blackstock addresses the question of what day Jesus died. Many people believe that Jesus died on a Friday and the term "Good Friday" is based on this belief. However, he points out that this is mathematically impossible as the Bible states that Jesus rose from the dead on the day after the Sabbath and that he was in the grave for three days and three nights. He explains that the annual Passover Sabbath, which would have been on a Wednesday, is the key to understanding the timing of Jesus' death and resurrection. He argues that Jesus died on Wednesday, was buried on Wednesday evening and spent Wednesday night, Thursday, Thursday night, Friday, and Friday night in the tomb, and rose from the dead sometime after 6 PM on Saturday, which is when the Sabbath ended. The tomb was found empty on Sunday morning, and that changed the world forever.
